Business Manager Visa Requirement Check

Check the five formal requirements. The result changes immediately as you tick each item.

1. Securing a business office

An independent business office has been secured, or there is a plan to contract oneThe lease is, or will be, under the company's nameThe office is, or will be, contracted for business useIt is not a virtual office

2. Capital of JPY 30 million or more

Capital or equivalent funds are JPY 30 million or moreThe applicant can prove that the funds were earned by themselves

3. Employment of at least one full-time employee

At least one full-time employee is already employed, or employment is plannedThe employee or planned employee is a Japanese national, special permanent resident, permanent resident, spouse or child of a Japanese national, spouse or child of a permanent resident, or long-term residentThe applicant and co-managers are not counted as full-time employees

4. Career requirement

The applicant has at least 3 years of business management or administration experience, or a master's degree or higher in a management-related field such as an MBA

5. Japanese language ability

The applicant has CEFR B2 equivalent Japanese ability, or employs or plans to employ at least one full-time employee with CEFR B2 equivalent Japanese ability
